Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

A: My Uncle Ronnie is one of my biggest inspirations. He was the president of the American Medical Association and also fought cancer. He passed away about a year ago. I would say my older cousins are definitely inspirations too.

Q: What are a few adjectives that you would use to describe yourself?

A: Loud. Fun. A little stubborn. Competitive.

Q: Twilight or Harry Potter?

A: I like them both but if I had to choose, I guess it would be Twilight. But I’m not much of a reader so my opinion is almost useless!

Q: What would you say is the best thing about being president?

A: The fact that it’s my job to make sure everyone is having a good time. Another thing I love is that I have a lot of control, and that if there's a problem I have the power to fix it. And weirdly enough, I’ve actually started to like all the pressure of it!

Q: If you could live as any person for one day, who would you live as?

A: I guess my grandfather. He survived the Holocaust, came to the U.S. to start a new life, and overcame adversity. It would be interesting to know more about how he dealt with it all and just to feel all of his emotions.

Q: What do you think needs to be changed in the school?

A:There are some minor things that need to be changed. The biggest thing is the amount of homework we get. The teachers don't realize that we take four or five other classes and it’s just too much! I know every kid says that, but I think that it puts too much pressure on students and it also affects our sleep. I only get about five to seven hours of sleep every night and that can’t possibly be healthy!
