The state of technology
The new Newton North High School building will open in Sept. 2010 after nearly $200 million of construction costs, including $1.8 million allotted to new technology. This money will be spent on several technological advancements, including DVD and VCR players, television sets, ceiling mounted projectors, MacBooks and interactive whiteboards, all of which will be installed in each of the school’s 119 classrooms.
